About my Austrian Peace Service

From September 2017 to August 2018 I was working at the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation as part of my civilian service in Austria.

As a peace servant, my responsibility is to communicate the events of 1945 and afterwards, that happened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki to Austrians. While I describe a lot of my thoughts over at my blog, I am planning on uploading several PDFs and entries about topics I wrote during my time here. Please keep in mind that those texts are my own opinion and as such not really scientifically written (although they should be able to make sense still). Also all my other projects as well as a summary of what I have learned here are going to be available here.

If you have any questions about my work as Austrian Peace Servant, please don't hesitate to ask me.This form of civilian service is possible for any Austrian being part of a NGO (like for example Austrian Service Abroad, or Österreichischer Auslandsdienst) and can also be performed by people not having to serve in the military or work as civilian servants.

Take a look at the projects I worked on while I was there
